Prodigy is part of the Star Trek Borderlands PbEM RPG community. 

It is part of the Delta Freedom Alliance, an organisation founded in 2402 by Admiral Tony Dark and Nok Loraith. The DFA started off as a rebel faction of Starfleet. Frustrated by the growingly militaristic and expansionist attitude of their parent organisation, the DFA broke away from Starfleet to return to the original ideals of the Federation; to seak out new worlds and civilisations. The DFA Prodigy is a bording school acadmy ship for children within the alliance who want to learn about space travel. As well as teaching traditional subjects, Prodigy aims to teach its students the skills they will need to explore the galaxy and is a good option for children interested in going to the DFA Acadamy when they grow up. One of the advanyages of our school being onboard a ship is that the children will get hands on experience exploring new worlds, under the protection and guidence of DFA officers. A lot of the children currently aboard Prodigy are the children of officers who serve aboard the ship, but civilian families are also welcome to apply!*

*Please note that Prodigy is an RPG for child characters not for child players. Applicants still need to be over the age of 16 to play on any Star Trek Borderlands games.
