Backstory: Mia was born on a Caitian colony and grew up with a love of swimming and stargazing. When she was seven, her parents (Caitian scientists named Dr. Rosalind and Dr. Alexander Rainier) enrolled her in the DFA Prodigy to give her a chance to explore the galaxy. To keep her company on the ship, they gave her a pet tribble named Fuzzball.
Mia is excited to make new friends and learn all she can about space travel, but can get overwhelmed easily by loud noises or feeling rushed.
