Sally doesn't remember her parents of why they were gone. She was moved from care home to care home (our foster homes). Some homes fed her, others didn't. Mostly the kids were used as a meal ticket from the government. The kids were rarely treated properly. One day Sally ran from one of the homes after being slapped and never returned. She served a year on the streets pick pocketing and using her tiny body to get into places others couldn't.
