Background Information

Distinguishing Features

Six has the DFA Flags painted on both shoulders and the flag colours across her chest plate, she has the DFA symbol, 30cm high on her front and back and a barcode and serial number (6312-STBL-DF48-1516-234A), along with her designation ‘Six of Twelve, Cromwell B’ underneath her comm badge.

She also has a Crewman Recruit insignia painted onto her right arm.

Background

Six was assimilated, along with its parents, on a passenger vessel on its way to the Gerosh wormhole, 3 days after it was born. Its parents worked in a small shop on a space station in the delta quadrant and were heading home to earth to see their family. They were waiting for advice from their family before naming the baby and so Six never received a name.

After its assimilation Six spent 5 years in a maturation chamber, it was then activated and designated, Six of Twelve, Secondary Adjunct of Unimatrix 11. It operated as an adjunct of an assimilation submatrix within Unimatrix 11 for the remaining 17 years of its life.

Six of Twelve (and a few other drones who were also assimilated as children) were responsible for contacting the Borg when a virus was assimilated from the few remaining members of Species 136. Six and all of the drones on Probe 635, including the last of Species 136, were re-assimilated by the Borg after it had made contact.

It was sent down to RAK with the rest of its submatrix to assimilate Cromwell’s away team. All of the other drones in the submatrix were killed. Six surrendered after being severed from the Collective due to a shot from the Brenari drone Twelve of Twelve overloading her cortical implant. It did so in order to gain information from Cromwell regarding the reasons why individuals resist the Borg. It declared itself as belonging to Cromwell, accepting all commands from them, until it could return to the Borg, with the promise of not harming or assimilating any individual belonging to Cromwell and with the promise of protecting its new “collective” from threats.

Six of Twelve is now part of ‘Prodigy’s Collective’ with the function of a weapon and data collection. Its function for the Borg is to collect data on why individuals resist assimilation.

Medical Record

Six of Twelve Secondary Adjunct Of Unimatrix 11

Note: This data is available to Medical and Engineering staff

Birthdate: 12th June 2395

Height: 5ft4

Species: Borg

Borg implants:

  • Assimilation Tubules, Extraction Tubules

  • Cortical Array; Cortical nodes, neural transceiver (inactive), neural processor, cranial implant, proximity transceiver

  • Tactical Exoplating

  • Forced Plasma Beam Disruptor and standard Borg prosthesis (replaces right arm)

  • Ocular Implant (replaces left eye)

  • Undefined implant in prefrontal cortex that appears to prevent Six of Twelve from gaining a sense of individuality.

Six of Twelve’s left eye has been replaced with an ocular implant, it has tritanium exo-plating coating most of its body and part of its skull. Its right arm has been replaced with a prosthetic, which operates as a plasma discharge weapon and as a repair tool. Its left arm appears mostly human but contains assimilation tubules which are released from the knuckles in her left hand, the tubules release valve is broken. Its cortical array is stored in the left side of its brain and is protected by a metal plate, its cortical nodes being in both sides of its forehead. It has a neural - processor in its abdomen which connects directly to its nervous system. It has a star-like implant underneath its right eye, the results of a sealed a wound given to her by a Hawk soldier on RAK.Its nanoprobes appear to be programmed not to repair its neural transceiver, most likely for the completion of its function. All other components (organic and cybernetic) are functioning within normal perimeters.
