<Stardate 2423.10 - 2423.12 - Six of Twelve- Begin Log>>
'Stitches' brought Lyra, Tess, C2 and Nine through a mouse hole inside the basement wall, which lead them into a tiny living room with a pink mouse inside named 'Charlie'. The group found a set of keys inside of Charlie's collection, likely the keys that would have opened the hatch in the ceiling, however, Kit had another idea for opening the hatch in the ceiling before that, the idea being that Mia, who was a dragon, should set it on fire with her breath.This was effective. Unit, Me'D, Heter and Alexis travelled through the now open hatch, while Banor, Six of Twelve, RJ12, Siril and Yel went through the (now enlarged) hole to the basement to find out what had happened to Lyra, C2, Tess and Nine.
Through the hatch, Me'D, Unit, Heter and Alexis found a living room with a ginger cat by the fireplace. The cat said her name was 'Mango' and after some disagreement, eventually agreed to lead the group to 'Exi', who Mango described as a large white dragon, who breathed ice instead of fire and was apparantly the individual responsible for turning everyone into animals. Mango lead the group through a kitchen full of unidentified bottled liquids and out into the garden, where Exi slept.
Meanwhile, we found Lyra, C2, Nine and Tess with Charlie and Stitches, and Charlie showed us a hidden door that lead out from the basement into the garden. Both groups arrived in the garden shortly after oneanother and Banor inititated disscussion with Exi.
While Unit, Me'D, Heter and Alexis had been talking to Mango, Kit and Four of Seven were with the remainder of the children in the glass room. They found another exit from the room and ended up in a dark, misty forest. There they found another cat (or perhaps it was the same cat, and the cat was omnipresent) also called Mango. This Mango lead the group from Prodigy to an individual known as 'The Hatter' who resembled the character of the same name from Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland, although this Hatter was apparantly more powerful, as he used some unknown force to tape the mouths of Neilson, Melina and Valen shut because he wanted them to stop complaining. He did untape their mouths when Kit asked, however, and then fed all of the group from Prodigy who were with Kit and promised to be an ally in the battle with Exi.
Banor offered himself to Exi, in exchange for letting everyone else go, as it transpired Eldar was in part behind this simulation. The AI was not created by Eldar though, but by Lyra's sister, Cellara, who was incarcerated in the same place as Eldar. We do not know how or where they have gotten to yet, but they appear to have worked together to escape and to plant this virus on Prodigy. Exi said that she would keep both Banor AND Lyra as she wanted to 'play with them in her world forever'. We did not understand most of what Exi said, but she told us there was to be a game. We had to fight Exi and win, which would be challanging in our current forms.
Exi said that Lyra must choose between two options: Banor could fight Exi as a wolf, with Exi turning into a wolf as well, but he would not be allowed any help, or, Exi would turn us all back to normal and we could fight her together, but Exi would remain as a dragon. Lyra chose the latter.
Exi was a challanging apponant, as she was as fast as Prodigy's processor, which made hitting her with our disruptor blasts more difficult than any organic apponant. Additonally, she had sent ice goblins after the others, who were attempting to escape back into the house. A lot of the children actually proved efficent in the combat with the goblins, C3 and Valen particularly so, though considering all she was armed with were rocks, Mia also managed to dispatch several of the goblins. Six of Twelve did eventually hit Exi in the wing and bring her down to ground, at which point Banor used the sword he had been given to remove one of the dragon's eyes. Exi retreated to the wall and sent out several blasts of her ice breath. She was defeated in the end when the Hatter gave Lyra his hat, which turned into a Javlin. Lyra through the Javlin through Exi's eye socket and it came out the other side of her head. There was an explosion of ice when she died, but everyone attained sufficent cover to not be severely injured and then the holodeck arch appeared, allowing us to leave.
Lyra was left with a note from Cellara (delivered by Mango) promising to 'visit again'.
