<Stardate 2423.04, Six of Twelve>
Colonel MarQ surrendered to Eldar in oder to distract him while Six of Twelve and C7 regained control of Prodigy's computer systems from the bridge. Dr Saran began to assist in this process from Engineering. Me'D and Dr Siril created a formulation for a vaccine to use against the Regression Virus. Unit went down to sickbay, escorted by RJ12 to be the first to test the vaccine.
The vaccine proved to be effective, but dangerous. Unit aged at a considerably accelerated rate, sending her body into shock. Her Borg nanoprobes (which grew back as she re-grew) were, however, able to repair the damage, though it was deemed unsafe to use the vaccine on another subject, especially one that was not Borg. Unit was taken to her alcove to recover while Siril and Me'D worked on a less intense version of the vaccine. They developed a version of the vaccine that was instead given in multiple doses, so that the units aged at a slower (but still accelerated) rate.
Meanwhile, Eldar subjected Colonel MarQ to a specific form of the vaccine that he had developed, which not only caused accelerated aging but also trapped Colonel MarQ in periods of injury, causing considerable damage to his body and considerable pain. Six of Twelve transported into the shuttle bay to detain Eldar and RJ12 entered the shuttebay via rock jumping through an airlock. RJ12 detained Eldar, allowing Six of Twelve to inject him with nanoprobes that had been programmed to counteract his immunity to the virus, and to infect him with our infected blood. Eldar rapidly began to regress and upon reaching the age of 3, was detained by Commander French. Colonel MarQ was badly damaged by Eldar's assault and had to be repaired, again. Six of Twelve partially assimilated him, as we did before and took him to his alcove to recover. RJ12 and Commander French found the Bynars and, under Kit's orders, allowed them to depart. Eldar was taken to the DFA Facility for the Criminally Insane, remaining in his toddler form. Prodigy is now in orbit of Chetzia and on 'downtime'. The Junior Cadets are taking trips to the Acadamy.

<Lt Tas, Stardate 2423.04, Begin Log>
Paige is out of surgery and seems to be doing well, at least as far as we can tell so far. She's going to have a lot of physio to do over the next couple of months and I have to admit, I'm worried about her mental health too. The doctors haven't noticed any of the damage to her amigdala that we were worried about (yet), but I'm worried about the situation surrounding her son. Paige has decided to put her baby up for adoption. I want to be there for her and show her that I'll support her no matter what, but I can't help but worry she might regret it, because I can see how much the decision has pained her. I don't know if it was the right decision or the wrong one, but either way, it has to have hurt...
She's gone to Devu II to sign the final adoption papers today. I did offer to go with her. I've taken enough leave to make sure I can stay with her for a while, but she didn't want me to come and I don't want to give her the impression that I don't trust her... again... so I guess I'll just have to wait for her call and hope things are okay. On the bright side, she did say she was staying with friends, so at least I know she's been looked after.
Ensign El has taken Toby and Etheria to a conference for the next couple of weeks, so I've decided to stay on Chetzia to be around for Paige if she needs me when she comes home. I know she talked to Kit and I got the general vibe from both of them that it was well... about the same as it always is when Kit and Paige talk.
