Captains Log: 2425.08 - 2425.09
Prodigy is currently at Deep Space Nine, planning our mission through the Bajoran wormhole.
Prodigy’s Collective had the idea of building a Spatial Trajector, which would allow us to leave Prodigy near the wormhole and send Ohana, cloaked, to the True Link ship, transporting the prisoners directly from Ohana to Prodigy via the Trajector (and meaning we don’t have to bring Prodigy into Dominion space). In order to make the Trajector work, Duuuuude has found a contact that was able to get us the required Tetrehedral Quartz and Dr Siril has devised a way to use the wormhole for the energy we’ll need to power it.
Red has been training Melina and Eternity to be his shuttle team for this mission, as Yel’s injuries mean he will be staying onboard Prodigy for navigation. Red and Eternity have adjusted Ohana to fit the gateway of the Trajector and Six has been working with engineering to get it built.
We’ve had a lot of modifications made to Prodigy this month, run by Lt Commander Chak, of the DFA Engineering Corp, both for the upcoming mission and for (Redacted). Things were running smoothly and we were almost ready to go, before an unexpected ‘friend’ contacted Six of Twelve via its subspace frequency and an all too familiar Section 31 ship appeared out of the wormhole.
I have an away team prepped to meet Nightmare and I only hope Six is right about it really being a friend…
Also, I finally met the Cetacean Ops crewman who apparently came onboard when we had the aquarium installed for Cryvyn-Sha. Turns out, he’s been here for three months… sending his reports to the brig instead of the bridge. I’m sure Banor was aware of him but he completely slipped my radar. Nice guy though, I think he’s going to be a good addition to the crew, provided we can get his reports sent to the right department anyway…
