<Captains Log, 2425.12>
Banor came up with a plan to rescue Siril, Neilson and me from the True Link ship. It started with RJ12 rock jumping onto their hull with Six of Twelve (Nemesis brought down the shields from the inside). Six then used its assimilation tubules to open the shuttle bay door, granting access to Red to the security team.
Once inside, Banor showed up in Krokan’s lab, with Commander French and Twelve. Neilson used his telekinesis to help Banor get the cells open but before I had a chance to get away, Krokan grabbed me and transported me to the Morningstar’s bridge.
I found out later, that the ship split in half, the upper section, where most of the staff were, went to warp (with me, and fortunately, Nemesis).
The rest of our mission team were able to break out the abandoned prisoners from the lower decks. The Spatial Trajector was used to get the prisoners back to Prodigy (the most badly injured and sick were treated by Mia and Me’D on Ladybird first). After all of the prisoners had been transported, Ohana and Ladybird set back for Prodigy’s location by the wormhole.
Banor got Prodigy back to safety in the Alpha Quadrant. Red and Neilson stayed behind in Ohana, by the Wormhole, incase I made contact before Banor could find me.
In the meantime, Krokan did some experiments on me, trying to find the Regression Virus (he’s well out of luck there, because it’s not in my system anymore). He mostly just watched me, wrote stuff down, and took blood. To be honest, as captors go, he wasn’t the worst but I definitely still wanted to go home, which is why I was very relieved to see Nemesis at the vent, a few days into our journey.
Nemesis managed to threaten Krokan into releasing us from the cell the next time he came in to take bloods. After that, we started for the bridge, because I planned to take the ship (Nemesis ate anyone trying to stop us). We didn’t get that far though, before someone triggered a self-destruct sequence. We managed to escape in Krokan’s escape pod and send out a distress signal, which Neilson and Red picked up.
We’re all back on Prodigy now and overall, the mission was a success. Kidnappings aside, we did manage to free the prisoners and we found Fraya, along with abducting Krokan (felt fair to return the favour) so that could lead to future Intel on the True Link.
For now, we’re celebrating the holidays in a simulation of an Australian Christmas and we had a lot to celebrate:
Me’D and Tas graduated their degrees, Tas, Toby and Mia’s paper was published, I promoted Red to Lt Commander (and Flight School Coordinator). Heter is now also a Lt Commander and Prodigy’s Second Officer and, best of all, I was finally able to promote Banor to full Colonel on Christmas Eve.
Duuuuude is dressed as Santa, handing out gifts now, Toby and Mia are playing with their laser swords and Six is asking everyone if they know where Carson is for his gift (‘when’ would be a better question).
Prodigy has been invited to trial a theme park, back in the Delta Quadrant, run by interdimentional travellers. We’ve also been ‘invited’ to Cardassia Prime to discuss Intel on the True Link. Whatever the new year holds for Prodigy’s crew, it seems sure to be exciting.
