Prodigy's first month on our own has been a lot of figuring out what everyone wants to do, as expected. The Junior Cadets completed a survay which helped us help them decide which departments would be most suitable for their training. We ended up with Unit in Scinces, Damon in Ops, Toby and Etheira in Medical, Neilson in Intel and, if she can get through Colonel MarQ's undoubtably riggerous tests, Melina in Command.

The Colonel and I had a meeting about the future of Prodigy and how we would conduct each of the children's individual training. Colonel MarQ, Six of Twelve and Commander French have been designing simulations for training and have also put forward a proposal for emergency control of the ship from the bridge using a series of holoemitters. Colonel MarQ informs me that Colonel Reynolds also provided him with a number of training programs before he left Cromwell and I can't thank him enough for that. We've decided to do on-ship training for the children over 10 years old and simulation training for those 6-9, although our methods are open to change depending on the individual performance of each of the kids.

Colonel MarQ has started training for Melina and Neilson, Unit has went to see Dr Siril about her training and I have just introduced Etheria and Toby to Dr Sirl and Doctor Kavai for theirs. Damon and Unit have also both began therapy sessions with Doctor Kavai. Unit has started her Batchalor's degree (in partnership with the DFA Acadamy) Majoring in Computer Sciences and Minoring in Art and Damon has just finished his highschool exams and has chosen to do his degree in Mechanical Maintainance (Major) and Basic Borg Technology (Minor).

The children from S'Task have had some trouble settling in as they miss their sister and father, but Etheria, and to my surprise, Unit, have been comforting them. Other than that, all of the children aboard Prodigy seem to be adapting well.
