{Captains Log DFA PRODIGY 2426.06 - Begin Recording}

Well, I lost the toddlers…

After our mysterious visitor, I went to call Tas to check everything was okay on Prodigy and asked Twelve to check in with the rest of the groups. We turned our backs for less than a minute and the little shits ran away. I just know it will have been Myriad’s idea too.

Anyway, they’d left a trail of cookies and it didn’t take long for Twelve to pick up their heat signatures (plus, I still have Myriad’s link to the Collective through my HUD, so I know she’s safely ignoring me). Unfortunately the stupid park AI decided that trying to supervise toddlers may interfere with their enjoyment, so the Companions tried to stop us from leaving. I convinced it that not being able to supervise them was interfering with my enjoyment which seems to have caused a logic paradox for it and caused it to freeze. Twelve and I took this opportunity to run away ourselves and follow the babies trail.

We found them playing in a fantasy forest with mermaids and fairies and I was so relieved they were okay, I forgot to tell them off for running away in the first place. On the bright side, this place is beautiful, so I decided it would be a nice place to celebrate Melina, Eternity and C1’s graduations. I did want to do it with Banor, but negotiations on Cardassia seem to be taking a while. So Melina and Eternity finished the Junior Cadets program and earned a licence for helm and small vessels piloting respectively. C1 also earned a qualification in Logistics. That’s 4 children having graduated from Prodigy so far! I couldn’t be more proud of them and I can’t wait to see what they want to do next. Of course, I biasedly want them to stay like Valen did and do their Academy training here but I didn’t tell them that because I want to make sure they explore all of their options and don’t feel pressured to stay. Whatever they choose, I know all 3 of them have bright futures.
